QuizEgg is a web based quiz and poll tool which enables students to evaluate their vocabulary and grammar in the quizes and tests. They can also utilize from the pictures that are downloaded by the teacher while they are testing their vocabulary and grammar knowledge. And it is helpful for teachers. It is fast, so the teachers don’t have to spend too much time while grading the students’ quiz and test paper. Moreover, QuizEgg has eight question types which are very useful for students.

To use QuizEgg:

Go to the QuizEgg web site by using URL which takes place at the top of this page. After you log in, you click a quiz for your students in common tasks. After you fill some information about your quiz and save it, you click question setting. In here you can add questions and you can choose a question type out of eight ones.

You can arrange the questions, put the time limit, choose where you use the answers. The answers can be either at the end of the quiz orafter each question. You can make these by using subtitles under the more setting.

You can also add files and pictures to your quiz. You can make this with link window by clicking upload, send it to the server and ok button.

In theme properties, you can choose a theme, and a theme editor. You upload and paste your logo as URL by clicking upload. You choose a background color and border color if you like. And at the end of these, click to done button.

To publish you quizzes, it is not necessary to make extra processes like files to upload. You can publish them easily by putting the URL address of this page to simple web address window. Your students see your quiz easily and quickly.

Lastly, you can easily and quickly see the detailed quiz results of your students in this tool. It is the most useful and helpful part of this tool for the teachers.

How to use this with students:

- Multiple choice questions: You can use them to develop your students’ test skill of their second language. By this way the students can find the true answer in many choices.

- Matching: Your students can use it for matching the words with their meanings. The students can develop their vocabulary by finding true meanings.

- Ordering: The students can order the words, sentences, and any other subject items. By this way they learn for ordering in second language.

- Fill in the blank: By filling the blanks the students can learn where and how to use the vocabulary or any grammar item in one paragraph.

- Multiple response: In this quiz there are many different responses. And the students learn to choose the true one among them.

- Word list: You can create a useful word list for your students’ vocabulary developing. And in quiz you can ask the meaning of the words.

- Essay: You can ask the students to write an essay including the vocabularies or new grammar rules they have learnt.

- True/ false questions: With these questions your students’ vocabulary and grammar skills are developed. Especially, you can ask them vocabulary meaning in this quiz.

And apart from this tool’s useful ways, it also has some problems while my students use it.

One of them is that it can be more difficult for my some students who don’t have much knowledge about the computer and technology than the other students. So, they may have difficult time in using this tool. It can be more useful to give the quiz to these students directly. The other problem can be that my some students don’t have any computer at home. So, they can not have a quiz at anytime. They can not have a quiz in evening or at night as homework. To solve this problem I should not put any quiz between specific times.
